  • I’m an end user on the Motability scheme, how do I replace my batteries?

    Strident operates through nationwide Motability dealers, please contact your nearest Motability dealer and specify Strident batteries.

  • I’m not getting the distance from my equipment, how do I get my batteries checked?

    There are number of areas that can impair the longevity of a battery, please contact you Motability dealer to discuss your needs, they have equipment available to check your battery and the equipment for any faults. Other specific areas that can impact battery life is charger type, age and performance, tyre type and wear. Your Motability dealer is best placed to advise.

  • Do I have to use Strident for my batteries?

    It is a Motability recommendation due to quality of product and simplicity of service.

  • How do I start to use the scheme?

    Just start! You can call us on +44 (0) 1362 300102 to discuss or simply go to the log in page and register for your Motability portal and your set to go.

  • Do I need to open an account with Strident to order products on the Motability Scheme?

    No, you can use us right away. There is no financial transaction between you (the dealer) and Strident for Motability orders.

  • Do I need to be an authorised Strident distributor to use the Motability platform?

    Strident offer same day despatch on order received by 15:00, however if you are an authorised distributor of Strident this will enable more flexibility for you to schedule repairs and allow faster response time for the end user.

  • How do I become a Strident authorised distributor?

    Simply contact our advisory team on +44 (0) 1362 300102 or email sales@strident.uk.com with your company details and a contact number and we can set you up very quickly with all the tools you need to become an authorised distributor.

  • Do I need to stock Strident products to make use of this platform?

    Not at all. There would be an advantage to you that will enable more flexibility for you to schedule repairs and allow faster response time for the end user but you can rely on our same despatch on order received up to 15:00.

  • Can I order tyres and chargers for Motability equipment with the batteries?

    We understand this would make it easier for you and we are working to add these products to the range as soon as possible.

  • Do I have to use the online platform for Motability orders?

    You can email or phone your orders through, however for tracking and visibility for you we recommend using the platform.

  • Do I still use the 1Link platform?

    Yes, you will still need to log the job on 1Link. Following approval, you then place the order with Strident.

  • I have logged the job on 1Link and it says the batteries under warranty, how do I proceed?

    Warranty claims are handled directly with Strident, once you have logged in head to the warranty claim area for more information on this.

  • I’m a confused Motability dealer, how do I get help with what’s going on?

    Call Strident on 44(0)1362 300102 and we will do our best to explain, alternatively contact your Motability account manager and they will be able to discuss your queries.
